Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Automation Engineer to join our team in London. As an Automation Engineer at KAISPE, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions that improve business processes, software quality, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other teams to identify opportunities for automation and deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated solutions for software and business processes.
- Identify repetitive and manual processes that can be improved through automation.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and workflows where required.
- Integrate automation solutions into existing development and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to define automation requirements.
- Create reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation frameworks and scripts.
- Monitor automated processes and troubleshoot failures or performance issues.
- Integrate automated solutions with CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
- Document automation processes, configurations, test cases, and workflows.
- Analyze automation results and provide actionable feedback to relevant teams.
- Continuously evaluate new automation tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Contribute to improving development, testing, deployment, and operational efficiency through automation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer, Automation Developer, QA Automation Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated workflows, scripts, or testing solutions.
- Strong understanding of software development and automation principles.
- Familiarity with APIs, web technologies, and database systems.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and development pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Good communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automation and testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.
- Experience with API automation and tools such as Postman.
- Knowledge of Python or JavaScript-based automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with workflow automation platforms and integration tools.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced technology or software development environment.
