Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team in London. As a QA Engineer at KAISPE, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications and digital solutions. You will work closely with developers, designers, product managers, and other team members to identify issues, improve product quality, and deliver a seamless experience to our users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct manual and automated testing of web and software applications.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent user experiences.
- Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to the development team.
- Participate in code reviews, requirement discussions, and sprint planning when required.
- Help establish and improve QA processes, testing standards, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of test cases, test results, defects, and QA activities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest QA tools, testing methodologies, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience with manual testing of web and software applications.
- Familiarity with test management and bug-tracking tools.
- Understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Good communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing integration.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with performance and security testing.
- Previous experience working in a technology company or fast-paced development environment.
